Terms of service

  1. Gravel Road Produce Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) sells wine and alcoholic drinks online. By ordering you agree to these Terms.
  2. You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol and we may verify your age electronically or by ID; delivery usually requires an adult signature and orders may be cancelled if we cannot confirm age.
  3. When you place an order you are making an offer; the contract begins only when we email a Dispatch Confirmation.
  4. Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable; if there is a pricing error we may cancel and refund.
  5. Payment is normally taken at checkout.
  6. Delivery options, charges and times are shown at checkout but are estimates only; risk passes to you on delivery and ownership once we have full payment.
  7. Please check goods on delivery and report any damage within 48 hours.
  8. For UK deliveries, any duties and VAT are included; for international deliveries, local import duties or taxes may apply and are your responsibility.
  9. Consumers have a legal right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of receiving goods by notifying us within that period, then returning the goods within a further 14 days; you must take reasonable care of goods and cover return postage unless we agree otherwise.
  10. Refunds will include the goods price and standard delivery and will be made within 14 days of receiving returned goods or proof of postage.
  11. Some items are excluded from cancellation rights, such as opened bottles, personalised or made-to-order goods; we will say so on the product page.
  12. If goods are faulty you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to a repair, replacement or refund.
  13. To return goods, contact returns@gravelroad.co.uk with your order number and reason; we will provide instructions.
  14. Promotions, discount codes and pre-book crates are subject to their own terms which will be shown on the product page or at checkout.
  15. Our liability is limited to the price of goods, except where the law does not allow limits (such as for death, injury, fraud).
  16. We are not liable for losses we could not reasonably foresee.
  17. We are not responsible for delays beyond our control (e.g. strikes, customs delays, government restrictions).
  18. All website content belongs to us or our licensors and may only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  19. By submitting reviews or other content you give us permission to use it worldwide for marketing and confirm it does not infringe others’ rights.
  20. We handle personal data under our Privacy Policy.
  21. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience only and we are not responsible for them.
  22. We may update these Terms and the version on our site at the time of your order applies.
  23. These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales; if you are a consumer you may bring proceedings in your local court.
